Terms of Service

Terms of Service & Service Agreement

Effective Date: March 16, 2021

Business Name: ACC Ceramics ATL

Location: Buford, GA (Hall County)

By booking an appointment, approving an estimate, or leaving a vehicle in the custody of ACC Ceramics ATL (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the vehicle owner or authorized representative (“Client,” “you”) agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Scope of Services & Specific Exclusions

  • Detailing & Paint Correction: Detailing and polishing enhance cosmetic appearance. Deep scratches through the clear coat, severe oxidation, failing clear coat, or rock chips cannot be fully corrected without repainting.
  • Ceramic Coatings: Coatings provide protective and hydrophobic properties; they do not render a vehicle scratch-proof, bulletproof against rock chips, or immune to neglected maintenance.
  • Window Tinting:
    • Curing Time: Window film requires 3–5 days to dry and cure depending on weather. Roll-down windows must remain closed during this window. Small moisture bubbles or haziness during the curing stage are normal and will evaporate.
    • Glass Imperfections: Factory glass defects (such as minor pitting, scratches, or dot-matrix borders) can affect film lay and are not installation defects.
    • Legal Compliance: Compliance with Georgia window tint darkness regulations (O.C.G.A. § 40-8-73.1) is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
  • PPF (Paint Protection Film) Removal:
    • Removing aged, sun-baked, or degraded film carries inherent risks.
    • We use professional steamers, adhesives removers, and techniques, but ACC Ceramics ATL is not liable for paint or clear coat delamination/lifting during film removal, particularly over repainted, damaged, or aged factory panels.

2. Limitation of Liability: Mechanical & Electrical Systems

  • Cosmetic Service Facility: ACC Ceramics ATL is strictly an automotive detailing, film, and protective coatings studio. We are not an auto mechanic shop and accept zero liability for pre-existing, intermittent, or sudden mechanical, electrical, or computer system malfunctions.
  • Vehicle Operation: Starting or moving vehicles within our bays, parking areas, or premises does not establish liability for mechanical failures (including dead batteries, alternators, starters, sensor/camera faults, air suspension drop, or dashboard warning lights).
  • Towing & Repair Costs: If a vehicle suffers a mechanical breakdown that prevents operation, all associated towing, roadside assistance, and mechanical repair charges remain the sole responsibility of the Client.
  • Engine Bay Cleaning: Performed strictly at the Client’s risk. We are not liable for water or cleaner intrusion into compromised gaskets, exposed aftermarket wiring, or delicate electronic modules.

3. Pre-Inspection, Personal Property, & Valuables

  • Intake Walk-Around: We document pre-existing body damage, windshield cracks, curb rash, and interior wear upon intake.
  • Valuables: Clients must remove all firearms, cash, electronics, and personal items prior to drop-off. ACC Ceramics ATL is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property left inside the cabin or trunk.

4. Vehicle Pick-Up & Storage Fees

  • Pickup Notice: Clients will be alerted when work is complete.
  • Storage Fees: Vehicles left longer than 24 hours after completion notice will accrue a storage fee of $50 per calendar day, unless written arrangements are agreed upon prior to service.
  • Georgia Lien Rights: In accordance with O.C.G.A. § 40-3-54, ACC Ceramics ATL retains statutory lien rights on all vehicles until full payment of services and accrued storage fees is remitted.

5. Payments, Deposits, & Cancellations

  • Deposits: Multi-day or specialized appointments (e.g., full ceramic packages, complete tint/removal jobs) may require a non-refundable deposit.
  • Payment Terms: Payment is due in full prior to vehicle release via cash, major credit/debit card, or approved electronic invoice.
  • Cancellations: We require 48 hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancellations to avoid forfeiture of the deposit.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes, mediation, or legal proceedings arising out of this agreement shall be filed and heard exclusively in the courts of Hall County, Georgia.
